This is to serve as the final notice of the 2014 Annual General Meeting of the Maryland State Youth Soccer Association that will be held on Sunday, September 14, 2014, from 12:00 – 4:00pm at the Turf Valley Resort in Ellicott City, Maryland. A Q&A reception for the new MSYSA Technical Director, Karla Thompson will follow immediately after the formal meeting.
Only members in good standing are eligible to vote at the AGM. A listing of affiliates and their votes will be available on the MSYSA website NLT September 10, 2014. Votes are calculated based upon the number of player/teams that have paid their registration fees with MSYSA as of September 4, 2014. Once posted, if you do not see your organization’s name listed or question the accuracy of the designated number of votes, please contact the MSYSA state office at 410-768-5401. In accordance with the MSYSA By-Laws, no individual may cast more than one vote. Separate individuals must be present for each vote to which the organization is entitled.
In order to have your voting delegates recognized and certified to vote on your behalf, their names must be presented to the Secretary of the Association on a paper containing the organization’s letterhead and signed by the organization’s President no later than 1 hour prior to the start of the Annual General Meeting. Please be reminded that in accordance with MSYSA By-Laws, member organizations that are represented at the 2014 MSYSA Annual General Meeting will not have to pay the MSYSA Affiliation fee for the 2014-2015 seasonal year. Organizations which are not represented at the AGM will have to pay a new affiliation fee for the 2014-2015 seasonal year by September 30, 2014 in order to remain in good standing.
