What is ODP?
The US Youth Soccer ODP is a national identification and development program for high-level players. The program identifies and develops youth players throughout the country to represent their state and regional associations. At the state association level, pools of players are identified in each eligible age group, and brought together as a team to develop their skill through training and competition. From the state pools and subsequent teams, players are identified for regional and national pools and teams. Maryland State ODP teams are comprised of the best Maryland players in various age groups.
The Maryland State Youth Soccer Association is proud to continue offering an opportunity for players born in 2003 or 2004 to participate in the Maryland State ODP. The U12 portion of the Maryland State ODP identifies and trains the top 100 male and female U12 players from across the state of Maryland.
Boys and girls born in 2003 or 2004 who have a strong soccer background and are looking for a unique training environment to supplement their club schedule are eligible to tryout. Players must be a Maryland resident and a registered MSYSA player.
