US Youth Soccer has asked that every player in the Maryland State ODP have access to the US Youth Soccer ODP Player Manual. Please take a moment to download and review the document. All Maryland State ODP players should be familiar with the contents of the player manual to include the numbering system and the 10 principles of possession soccer.

The training times for male and female players assigned to the Total Soccer Arena (TSA) location have changed slightly. As a larger number of players have been assigned to train at TSA than were previously expected based solely on where they live in the state, it has become necessary to "stack" the training sessions at this location this season so that each gender will have the entire TSA complex for their 90 minute training session each week. As such, the U12 Boys will train from 5-6:30pm and the U12 Girls will train from 6:30-8pm on each of the Monday evening training session dates. This information has been updated on the "2015 ODP Training Schedules". We apologize for any inconvenience and look forward to a great season!
The 2015 Region I Girl ODP U12 ID Camp will be held July 9-12, 2015 at the University of Rhode Island (45 Upper College Road, Kingston, RI 02881). This camp is open to any current Maryland State ODP U12 female player born in 2003.
The purpose of this event is to identify the top U12 Girl players in attendance (born in 2003) and to invite selected players to participate in additional training sessions between August, 2015 and July, 2016.
Maryland will need to send one chaperone for every 10 U12 players that choose to attend. If you are interested in serving as a chaperone then please send an e-mail to email@example.com. A charter bus will be arranged by MSYSA and interested attending players will have the option to ride the charter bus. The fee to ride the charter bus is typically around $200 and includes the ride up and back, an extra night in the residence halls and three additional meals as the players will travel up to camp the day before the camp begins.
The charter bus payment form will be posted here once available.
To register, please complete this payment form and return to the state office along with payment in the amount of $425 by Friday, May 15, 2015. Once received, you will be sent an e-mail confirming receipt of payment/registration and you will be asked to submit any additional documents that may be needed at that time.
