The 2014 Maryland State ODP U12 Boy's Playday will take place at the Garrison Forest School (located at 300 Garrison Forest Road, Owings Mills, MD 21117) on Saturday, June 28, 2014. The Playday will last from 9:00am until roughly 1:00pm. Players should plan on arriving at Garrison Forest 25 minutes prior to their first game. The game schedule can be found below.
Every team will play a minimum of three games. Due to the current numbers (as a result of various injuries and previous commitments), the U12 boys at SoccerPlex and UMBC will each have two teams instead of three participating in the playday. Additionally, and as a result, SP1 for the boys will play four games. Each field will have a minimum of one referee. Each game will be 50 minutes long (22 minute halves with roughly a 5 minute halftime break). Team pictures will be taken on the bleachers and will be available for download from this website following the conclusion of the Playday. The team picture schedule can be found below.

It has come to my attention that on Monday, April 28, 2014 the GK’s that traveled to the Maryland SoccerPlex to participate in the specific GK training received either little or no specific GK training that evening. This was apparently the result of poor communication and I apologize on behalf of the Maryland State Youth Soccer Association. The communication has been corrected and the specific GK training sessions scheduled for the Maryland SoccerPlex on Monday, May 12 and Monday, June 2 will have all of the U12 GK’s (boys and girls) training with the Maryland State ODP GK coach for the entire training session (90 minutes).
Additionally, in an effort to offer a “make-up” specific GK training session, it has been decided that in the event that the rain date (June 16, 2014) does not need to be utilized (i.e. none of the remaining 5 scheduled training sessions need to be cancelled for any reason) then all of the U12 GK’s (boys and girls) will be invited to the API training location (740 Route 3 N., Gambrills, MD 21054) from 6-7:30pm on Monday, June 16, 2014 to participate in a specific GK training session.
To be clear, in the event that the rain date (June 16, 2014) needs to be utilized (i.e. because one of the remaining 5 scheduled training sessions needs to be cancelled for any reason) then the players are to report to their previously assigned training locations on Monday, June 16, 2014.
