The Region I Presidents Cup will take place in Saratoga Springs, New York on Memorial weekend, May 28th- May 31st. The following teams will represent Maryland in the following age groups:
U14 Girls - Bethesda Threat
U15 Girls – Bowie Soccer United Explosion
U16 Girls - Bethesda Force
U17 Girls - ASA Vipers
U13 Boys - Severna Park Green Hornets Fever
U14 Boys - St Marys United
U16 Boys - Laurel Wildcats
U17 Boys - Calverton Cosmos
The Region I President Cup will hold its hotel lottery draw on Sunday, January 24th. The Region I Presidents Cup will follow the same hotel lottery draw format as the Region I Championships. Teams will be required to use the Region I Housing. If they choose to use public housing they will be assessed $500.
The US Youth Soccer President Cup Finals will be played in Murfreesboro, TN, July 2010.
The US Youth Soccer Presidents Cup provides a progressive, competitive experience to US Youth Soccer teams from the state to regional to national level. The Presidents Cup gives players an additional opportunity to compete against teams from across the country at a high level for the joy and the challenge of the game. It provides the chance to experience a unique US Youth Soccer event with camaraderie, community and competition through sport.
