Good of the Game  
The primary purpose of the Annual General Meeting is to elect officers and members of the MSYSA Executive Board and to consider proposed amendments to the MSYSA Constitution and By-Laws.  Only members in Good Standing are eligible to vote at the AGM.  Members in Good Standing are entitled to a specified number of votes at the AGM based upon the number of players/teams registered with MSYSA by the organization.
Each affiliate in Good Standing will be notified of the number of votes they are entitled.  
All affiliate organizations are strongly encouraged to attend the MSYSA Annual General Meeting.  If you are unable to attend, your organization will be assessed:
0 – 15 teams                        $60
16 – 40 teams                      $115   
41 or more teams                 $170

Voting Tabulation Draws Near
The calculations for total votes have begun and will be finalized and posted on the MSYSA website on Friday, June 19, 2015. Payment for applicable affiliation/travel/recreation fees is due into the state office by the end of the third quarter (May 31). Payments not received by Thursday, June 11, 2015 will be considered late. Payment can be submitted via check (made payable to the MSYSA and mailed to the state office at 221 5th Ave. SE, Glen Burnie, MD 21061) or credit card over the phone (410-768-5401).

Please know that the Treasurer and Primary Organizational Contact (POC) for every affiliate organization can view the most up to date financial records for their organization by signing into the Youth Leagues database (https://www.youthleaguesusa.com/msysa/14-15/Database.htm)  and selecting “Financial Report” from the drop down menu.
