Congratulations again to all of the teams that will be advancing to compete in the 2013 Region I Presidents Cup on May 24-27, 2013. The following information has been provided to help answer any questions that you may have as you prepare. If after reviewing this information your questions have not been answered please call the MSYSA State office (410-768-5401).

LODGING:

Does our team have to use tournament housing? Yes. Any team that chooses to secure alternate lodging arrangements will be assessed a $500.00 fine per Region I rules.

What constitutes tournament housing and what does not? Tournament housing is what has been assigned/provided for your team through AB Sports Zone and the Maryland State Youth Soccer Association. Everything else is not tournament housing. 

ROSTER:

When is the roster freeze date for Maryland? Rosters are due into the MSYSA State office by Thursday, May 16, 2013.

Can teams use club pass players? No. A team must roster each player to their Presidents Cup roster in order for players to be eligible to compete. Only players appearing on the 2013 Region I Presidents Cup team roster will be eligible to compete.

Does the continuity rule apply to team rosters? Yes. Of the initial roster that was submitted in order to compete in the 2013 Maryland Presidents Cup, 9 players must remain on the 2013 Region I Presidents Cup roster.
