MSYSA Executive Board Postpones AGM

Current circumstances within the Maryland State Youth Soccer Association have required the MSYSA Executive Board to postpone the meeting of the general membership regularly scheduled for June 21, 2014.

An alternate date has not been determined; however, we will notify you as soon as any information becomes available.

We apologize for any inconvenience.

MSYSA Executive Board Opposed to Below Bylaw Amendments

In reponse to the below proposed MSYSA Bylaw Amendments currently slated to be voted on at the 2014 MSYSA AGM on Saturday, June 21, 2014, the MSYSA Executive Board has chosen to release the following statement to the MSYSA Membership.

The MSYSA Executive Board, at the May 21, 2014 board meeting, voted and passed that as a single cohesive group the MSYSA Executive Board is fundamentally opposed to the motion to allow proxy voting and the motion to eliminate President term limits.  The below link provides supporting information, additional rationale and logical implications to enable the MSYSA Membership to make an informed decision when voting at the 2014 AGM.
